Rokovia along with its Rwandan partner Owenzo Business Group organized the Slovak-Rwandan Agroforum with aim to present the 25 years of our achievements and experience in the production of amino acid organic fertilizers. Our vision is to improve the food security and self-sufficiency of Rwanda in production of organic products.
We believe that these video conferences will be the driving force of progress in the form of the implementation of the Slovakia-Rwandan Innovative Industrial Park.

Description of the event:
Our delegation was received by a Member of Parliament, Ms Marie Theresa Murekatete & the president of Hinga Weze Cooperatives. Nyabihu is the single district that consumes more Fertilizers in Rwanda and we believe, that it will be a driving force in organic movement in Rwanda.

Description of the event:
Our representatives held an event for Coffee Task Force for The District of Karongi. The aim of the meeting was to educate them on usage of organic fertilizers during Tea farming.

Description of the event:
Rokosan and Umujyojyo Investment Group Plc organized one day online training for youth and farmers on organic fertilizers. The training took place on 26/08/2021 and brought together 60 participants (10 via zoom and 50 in Karongi Video Conference). The objective of the training was to equip youth (Umujyojyo members) and farmers with knowledge and skills on Rokosan fertilizers in particular Rokohumin fertilizer that is temporary certified in Rwanda. It also aimed to equip the participants with marketing and distribution strategies to enable them scale the reach.

Field day in Rutunga sector, Gasabo District
Description of the event:
With the support of Rutunga sector agronomist in Gasabo District, we organized training for 50 farmers representing 456 members on how to use Rokosan organic fertilizers. Trained farmers grow Rice and vegetables on 150ha of Rwandan farmlands.

Field day in Bumbogo sector, Gasabo District
Description of the event:
After successful organization of the previous Agroforum focused on female farmers, representatives of Bumgogo sector were motivated to organize another event for broader audience. Event was composed by field test demonstration, presentations of the products and transfer or the knowledge of organic farming.













26th of June 2021
Location:
Isangano Bumbogo Cooperative in Gasabo District
Description of the event:
Workshop was organized for 45 women farmers in Isangano Bumbogo Cooperative just 25km from Kigali. This event was focused on education of the female farmers in terms of organic farming and utilization of ROKOSAN products, such as Rokohumin, Rokolan, Rokoaktiv and gardening set Minigarden.






















25th of May 2021

Description of the event:
Workshop in Classic Hotel was organized in cooperation with Umujyojyo Group with goal to train future salespersons of ROKOSAN products in Rwanda. Part of the workshop was interactive lectures from Slovak experts and marketing training from ROKOVIA team members. At the end of the event, participants received certificate as trained agronomists with knowledge about organic fertilizers from ROKOSAN.

Description of the event:
Field demonstrations were organized in cooperation with Umujyojyo Group to train the local farmers in practical usage of liquid organic fertilizers. As part of the event, members of ROKOVIA visited community pig farm, where they presented lectures regarding animal nutrition.

JURU Coffee farm, Rulindo district, Rwanda
Description of the event:
Field demonstration was organized by ROKOVIA team along with representatives from JURU Coffee Farm, whom were actively participating on field testing on coffee crop. Training was held in Rulindo Organic Zone, where several farmers were educated on utilization of organic fertilizers in their own farms.

Interactive event was organized on behalf of ROKOVIA in the meeting room of RDB for several farmer cooperatives. Lectures from Slovak university teachers were shared with the participants along with discussion on utilization of Rokohumin Duplo on several crop cultures.

First official Slovak-Rwandan Agroforum was organized online due to COVID 19 quarantine measures. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the project to broad audience from government, NGO and farmers associations. As part of the event, lectures from Slovak university teachers were presented, with goal to enhance the cooperation in education sector between both countries.
